EDUCATION

Central Washington University, Fall 2015-Present

Bachelors of Science Degree, Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising

Expected graduation date, August 2018

Minor: Retail Management and Technology.

The Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising program has helped me learn to combine my two passions, fashion and math. I have learned how to accurately and effeciently forecast trends which are a large component in a Merchandising career. I have also learned about or touched base on aspects in the industry from advertising, creating technical line sheets, styling culture and more. The ATM program creates a foundation for students to pursue an exciting career journey. I am leaving my educational experience feeling prepared to go into a variety of fields within this industry. I think that is what makes the Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising program at Central Washington University stand apart from other programs.
